So people who are self-isolating, or are unable to find a garage open can wait for lockdown measures to be lifted before getting their new MOT.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><b>Car MOT during the coronavirus lockdown<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The exemption operates on a rolling basis; for example, if your <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmtgarages.co.uk\/mot.php\">MOT<\/a> runs out in April, it is now due for renewal in October.
